Payware and pay to play model is getting really carried away. Carwashes, Car features, radio stations, music, movies, TV's, shopping apps, Walmart, Sams, Costco, smart garage doors, door locks, phones, tablets, watches hell even rings and treadmills.....the list doesnt end. I know some may say "well then dont use it" and thats certainly fine but when you're sold hardware that is oftentimes times under the guise of free to use or all inclusive or a LOW annual cost then they keep upping the cost to use the same hardware you already paid for or start to severely reduce the free use feature to the point of uselessness its not really ethical. In a couple decades no one will own anything it'll all just be rented even clothes.

To remove this stupid Rufus AI nonsense you need to call support wait 1 1/2 hours finally get ahold of someone that understands what you're asking for and then when you finally get to someone that knows about Rufus they can search their database for information to opt you out of Rufus. This is the only method I have found to remove it. You have to contact support and opt out of Rufus and you must provide a reason for not wanting to use it or for opting out. After opting out it will take a few days before Rufus is removed from the app. Amazon you suck for not making this easier.

This is such a joke! Alexa is about as smart as a bag of hammers! Here's an example of what currently happens. I walk in the door and tell Alexa to play one of my fav playlist and I see the blue ring circle going on, that's how I know Alexa can hear me. But, alas.....no music. So, I ask Alexa again to play my playlist and still nothing. I tell Alexa "Alexa, I still hear no music", and all her response is "I'm sorry, I don't support that right now". This should be soo common sense! She should be able to understand basic conversation English and interact with me, and she doesn't. AS far as examples, why do AI examples always revolve around useless things like "Tell me a love poem". Like when I walk in the door, I need Alexa to turn on my living room, put on my favorite playlist, turn on the front porch light and give me a dinner suggestion, not tell me a poem! Right now, Alexa can't even do the basic of things that she was originally set up to do! I set up routines, they don't even work. It really is sad, because I invested in a number of Alexa products such as smart plugs, several Alexa Studios, Alexa show, Security cameras and she fails to even operate them at the most basic of levels. So as far as Alexa gaining a basic LLM, it couldn't come soon enough!
